A proud episode in the history of Falcon and Plumtree was the combined U.K. Rugby Tour in 1982.

A fine team of leaders for 1982, with Andrew Stobart as Head Boy.

The play in 1982 was Shaw's Arms and the Man produced by Gordon Brand. It was another excellent production, reviewed in the magazine by John Worwood who found it "a compelling evening of theatre". Andrew Stobart found time in his busy schedule to play Bluntschli and also of note was Gavin Werner's Raina.  Gavin has carved out a very successful career in theatre in Cape Town (as can be seen on his web site).

Two more photos from the Rugby Tour followed:

There was an informal gathering in Cape Town at Gil Cottrell's home in Clifton on 2nd January, 1983.  Dougal and Jill Turner were on holiday in Cape Town at the time and joined Old Boys and former staff there.
